Walking barefoot in the forest

Each person’s journey to comprehensive stress management is going to be different. However, there are certain things that have helped me. Each one by itself is just a small thing you can do, even daily, to reduce anxiety. However, together they are a holistic approach to a low-stress lifestyle.

1. Find Safe Spaces

When anxiety starts to take over, try to find a safe and quiet space to be by yourself, even if it is just for a moment. You can create one in your home and perhaps even your office. If you are out in public, sitting in your car for a moment is even an option. A calm outdoor space may also be helpful.

2. Just Breathe

There are lots of breathing exercises that can help with anxiety. Focusing on the breath has many helpful benefits. It slows the mind and may reduce the physical effects of anxiety. One of my favorite breathing exercises is to breathe into my abdomen for 5 seconds. The I breathe out for a 10 count, making sure to expel all the air. I do this for 2 minutes total, at least.

3. Get Healed By The Earth

Wondering how to manage your stress naturally? There is nothing more natural than nature! The earth is healing and grounding. Find its powerful effects by standing outside barefoot in a beautiful natural area, or even hugging a tree. It may sound silly but nature is powerful!

4. Drink Plenty of Water

Our bodies are made of mostly water, so water is really important to our physical and mental well being. I drink water filtered with a Berkey filter & a flouride filter as well. Being well hydrated can help to reduce stress.

5. Practice Gratitude

Having a gratitude practice is something that can change your life in so many ways. As it relates to anxiety specifically, gratitude helps you focus on the good things in your life instead of worrying about what could go wrong. It also helps us to keep our entitlement and attachments in check.

6. Take Be Serene

Taking 2 Be Serene capsules per day is just one part of a holistic regimen to manage stress and anxiety naturally. We have hand selected 5 powerful anti-anxiety herbs to help your body regulate stress hormones and be more calm.
